Question about collecting seeds from plants

I want to ask that how can we collect the seeds from the plants that don't have fruit??
E.g.:Choi Sum<--they got no fruit but how come there are seeds of them?

I know I know,
if plants don't have fruit,they may have [seeds 夾]
or........no seeds but 走莖(黃金[割])
