怎樣延長屈金香花期﹖

今年第一次種屈金香﹐但似乎都不能成功﹐看來唯有明年再努力過。昨天幾經辛苦終於找到屈金香苗了。好像快要開花的樣子。可是我不想它那麼快開花﹐開了也想盡量延長花期。最理想是可以四月才謝。請問﹐以下照片的屈金香大概幾耐會開花同埋一般黎講仲有幾耐壽命﹖除了少點淋水同埋0吾好給它照那麼多陽光之外﹐還有什麼可以盡量拖延它開花﹖但係我又驚俾得太少陽光同水又會有反效果﹖同埋如果0吾落0個D促進開花既液有無問題﹖0吾好意思﹐好多問題添。希望你們可以幫幫我啦。


下面呢盆爭一個未開花﹐但應該捱0吾到去三月中﹖

上面個盆都已經有花蕾，估計下星期就會開花，
一般鬱金香可以開大約1至2星期，
如果想它遲一點才開，可以將它們置放在大約攝氏10-12度的地方下培養

So, to clarify, is it that a warmer temperature will favour blooming of the tulips while colder temperature can delay it?  Or is it the other way around?  Thanks!

最多給它2星期，好少活多過3星期。
對，天氣溫暖對開花有幫助。
據我所知道，只有溫度較低才可延遲它的開花時間；
當然，或許有其他方法，那要看看有沒有其他人知道

是的,低溫可以在花朵未發育完全時,延遲發育速度,使花期延後.
但對於已開放的花朵,我見過的大約一星期多一些. 天氣暖和,陽光充沛時....一朵最多維持一星期.

One more question, can room light replace sunlight and cause the flowers to bloom?  I am wondering if I can delay its blooming time by putting it in a dark room (not turning on the room light) too?

房燈不能代替日光，除非你的房燈是太陽光燈

我很好奇為什麼要故意延長開花期?

ok...so i guess i'll let some sunlight shine on it for a while (maybe an hour?) every day, put it in a dark air-conditioned room for the rest of the daytime...and turn the air conditioner off at night when the weather is cooler.  Will that work?

my tulips either are growing toooooo slow or too early, sigh
I still have 2 bulbs with just a bit more than 1 inch height after 8 weeks of planting (but actually improving over the last few days)

haha you are smart...i guess that's the only reason for delaying flower blooming eh.  
nah...just a good friend...but i've decided i'll grow tulips for her since a year ago, sort of a promise.  If really can't delay that much, I'll give it to her in March, ai...

In my experiance, provided you've given the tulip bulbs an artificial winter (i.e. 0-5 degrees) for 10 weeks, then it will only take 30 days (from the time of planting) for it to flower in Hong Kong...

So if you want it to flower in April, may be you can try planting them in March?

Unfortunately the tulip bulbs I have are not of good quality coz I bought them quite late last year.  So despite having put them in the fridge for 2 months, they still do not grow well.  I did plant 2 new bulbs today, but I won't put much hope on them.

Thanks.  The problem is, how can I create a 4 degree environment for my tulips (I am turning the air-con on now but I guess that can only create a 18-20 degree environment.) -_-"

不過不了。我希望從頭到尾都是自己親自一手一腳種的才會送人。
我不介意等多一年。我有信心明年會種得成。
