Although I know ChangJei, I couldn't manage to be fast as English typing due to lack of practice Finally I give up and use touch pad.   Surely it is not the best option but it hits the target at least for me the oldies!  You are still young, it won't be difficult to speed up your Chinese typing skill one day.

Age is not an excuse.  I wrote my first Chinese character on computer at 50.
