I fear the leave get too dry so I spray water on them.

I am a new hand too, but I would like to share my experience to u ~
I bought a phal. which about to die at this chinese new year, so I remove all damaged roots and pot it in a smaller pot with 2/3 蘭石 ( med size ) + 樹皮 at the bottom ( mix together ), 1/3 水苔 on top, I water it when 水苔 all dry from head to toe ( u will see there's some room in between the 水苔 and the pot, if u not sure, u can feel the 水苔 which is very dry and hard to press ( 刺手嘅感覺 ), u might not believe ~ now it 來花！so I believe it wasn't that hard to plant. I am sure the most important thing to all orchids is 要通風, if your place is not 通風, nothing could help.

那是不用怕的。我都是這樣養蝴蝶蘭的~~~牠們的LEAVE 怕水，不怕乾，厚厚的葉片早已儲了許多水。

I understand now. Thanks so much. However, some experts here suggested that the leave can function as its roots to absorb water. If it is so, then shouldn't we spray water on the leave occasionally?

You provide a huge incentive to me for growing my Phal well. I hope it can flower one day.

It takes time to recover. Too much care will let it die.  Relex

hea 住種，反而更好。

From your pic, roots is still ok. U only give 通氣 ( much important).

Water is not much important. U only give water when the surface is dry. U do not need give water everyday.....

and the 濕度 on this week is too high, no need to addd much water...
