朱頂蘭同百合之間的分別

我想問下以上兩隻有咩分別呀?
我睇落好似都差唔多  分唔到出黎嫁
可唔可以教下我呀???

第一，球不一樣。百合是 鱗茎，朱是石蒜科，球根像个大洋蒽。

第二，百合一般勁香，朱是無味的。
第三，百合花瓣单独，分裂。即花落时分为六瓣。朱的花瓣，是基部連合，落花时整朵脫落！

Wincy, you have touched on a very interesting topic here.  Genus "Hippeastrum" WAS actually classified under family Liliaceae (百合科).  In South America, those white trumpeted Hippeastrum species are often commonly known as "azucena" which is a Spanish word representing "lily".  Hippeastrum flowers do resemble that of Lilium in many aspects.

Family Amaryllidaceae (石蒜科) is separated from family Liliaceae  mainly on account of the ovary (子房) which is relatively inferior to that of family "Liliaceae".  Nevertheless, this separation is not fully recognised by certain schools of taxonomists.  Otherwise, 八王爺 has already provided a good account of the features of genera Hippeastrum and Lilium.

百合是無皮鱗莖呢!
另外有一些品種的孤挺是有香味的啦!

百合(Lilium)是屬於無分枝單莖軸(monocaul),它的莖生葉的葉序有輪生及互生,而花是會在莖軸頂端分化出來.
它的無皮鱗莖的外觀就像似一個打開的蓮座一樣.

孤挺(Hippeastrum)是從鱗莖中央長出肥厚的帶形肉質對生葉,而花是著生於獨立從鱗莖長出的中空呈筒狀的花莖頂端.
