Lilium brownii :
LEAVES: scattered, obovate, lanceolate, or linear, 7-15 x 0.6-2 mm, 5-7-veined.
FLOWERS: solitary or several in a subumbel, not fragrant. Petals form a funnel with recurved tips, white, purplish suffused, unspotted; outer ones oblong-oblanceolate, 13-18 x 2-4.5 cm; inner ones spatulate, 3.5-5 cm wide; nectaries papillous on both surfaces. Stamens curved upward; filaments 10-13 cm, densely pilous to glabrous. Style 8.5-11 cm. Capsule 4.5-6 x ~3.5 cm. Seeds immediate hypogeal germination. Flowering time June-August. 2n=24.
