Shall I continue to tell you how to improve?
The very first monet you posted the picture, i could not see that was a "group-placed decorating plants". The way I told you was for a individual one which you are going to plant it for long term purpose.
For a phal, I will never put it in a "china" pot which looks like being painted. Only 陶盆 can be tried. Most of Orchids are breathing with their roots. Yours can never take any fresh air by themselves because they are now living a choked enviornment. You have to move them to a 蘭花盆 (go to the florist and buy some) one by one.
See the Evergreen(s)? Get rid of them to another flowering pot. They need humid all the time while Orchids requires alternate watering systematically.
If you really want to plant the orchids for long term, please change all the old content inside and put some new stuff.
1. Buy some new Orchid pots, wash them throughtly with soap water, clean & allow to dry well.
2. New stuff : stone(蘭石)+蛇木屑(washed) and some new 水苔(soak for one day and drain throughoutly with running water, squeeze to dry)
3. take the orchids out , wash away all the old stuff. Since It is quite humid now, dry them with some tissue papers if you don't mind ( especailly the centre point).
4. Put some 水苔 inside the center of the root system and a thin layer surrounding it.
5. Put some stone in the bottom for a layer. then put the Orchid ( 1 by 1) into the new Orchid pot. Leave it in the Centre , then drop the stone(蘭石)+蛇木屑(washed) in gradually till almost full.
6. Don't water it for several days ( at least 3-4 days for recently weahter). Orchids can't suffer changes so frequently. Water it under running tap water when you find them very dry and allow the excess water to run away. Leave it being moistured for several days.
7. they will grow new roots when they get adapt to the new enviornment.
Side Hints :
1. Cut the flower stalks with sharp cutter ( sterilized). No point to keep them.
2. Checking up the humid in the pot - try your best to feel with your hand. Watering them only when you feel(weight it in the hand) it's too light (輕) but not only "looks dry"...
3. Hang them up if you can do. Good air/wind circulation is important.
4. Indirectly but good sunlightening is always a treasure for phal.
Hope you can do it when the temperature is at about 17/8 to 22/3.
All the best~~~~~~Let the Phal(s) bring you beautiful blossom next year. Their leaves can also keep your eyes green all year around.
Enjoy~~ |
