有關315=插葉的Cathy's Fireworks

Noel,
315的葉形花形的確與cathy's Fireworks十分相似，最近的發現使我也相信３１５前身很可能是十字花，妳有沒有看過３１５開出十字花的模樣？有３１５的開花照嗎？有的話post上來看看。

You are absolutely right... 315 is Kathy's Firework...

Indeed, one of the 315 from there has turned back as chimera in Kathy's Firework

Next time when you get there 315+ = Kathy's Firework

Really? Is it stable? I saw some blooming with 4 pedals Cathy's Firework, other pedal is full red...

Yes, but it's also very tiny... Long way to go before blooming...

Another problem of getting plants from Uncle Fat is that the bottom leaves are always being bit and not looking good, I always take them away so that the plant is looking much much smaller than when I got it...

I guess it must be a 2 digit figure?

Aiya   the one you are getting has red stems which means flowers will all turn purple wor... look at your "Cathy's Firework", it meant to be all green...

I got a green small one instead even though they are of all same prices...

It really doesn’t a matter! My experience tells that stem in red color doesn’t mean the flower will bloom into a false color. The facts, you may notice that, for some varieties, the stem turns to red from green only means that the flower buds become ripe for blooming.

hey, my 315 (2-digit figure~ kekee) has little buds now, wishing to post flower photos before christmas for you to compare. I wish it can bloom chimera like fireworks in Lunar NY~~~

Sorry, not trying to argue with you especially I know your experience is much much better than mine...Subjectively... In my opinion, whenever the plant turns red in stem, whether this is a chimera or not, color of flowers will be much deeper. If there is a chance we could go Uncle Fat's place together, we can look at his chimeras (Crown Jewel, Fortune Teller etc... and certainly some Cathy's Firework) Once the stem has turned red, majority of the flowers will turn to the deeper color of the two, that means the white strip will disappear... Let's see if we have chance get together to go to a green house la... then we will know more

  The one you got was much larger... mine is just tiny... but I've got my C76+ and crown jewel blooming heavily

I've just cut my own Cathy's Firework, so a long time to go before it blooms again

約ニ年前初出315的時侯，巳試過開出十字花的形態，唯當時所出的苗，斑葉並不明顯，
之後的花色亦打回原形(同圖鑑一樣) 故沒有想過是Cathy's Fireworks....
到後來斑斑全都回來，葉形亦與初回來有出入，才想應該是她沒錯

315與Cathy's Fireworks看是十分相似，但不完全一樣。315的花朵的大少明顯比Cathy's Fireworks細大約20-30%左右，而315植株的size卻比Cathy's Fireworks要大。315開花的過程(由花蕾至凋謝)與Cathy's Fireworks也不盡相同。我只有一株315，只憑據一株的觀察，數據太少,315與Cathy's Fireworks之間有何關係，難以立論。

Do you mean the 315 you posted? My Cathy's Firework is no smaller than that one, and I haven't seen a 315 being a lot larger than this one wor, how big can a 315 be ar?

咁要買多幾棵至得....

Kendrew, 我祗用自已育種的去比較及觀察，相片是無法觀測生長過程與變化，當然花友的經驗、報告及照片等，對我這個發熱友來說是相當珍貴的。
