重生了我的捕蠅草!!!!!!!!!!!(NEW !! Update 24/03/2010)

4,5個月前,我的捕蠅草很壯

但之後愈來愈差
D葉開始枯晒(我無轉任何野)
我只好剪下枯死的
之後愈死愈多
最後死淨少少
D夾變得好細







眼見它由盛轉"死"
好心痛啊!!!
希望各位幫下手救救

Lack of light and poor substrate quality ~

Should change substrate and give them lots of light especially it is no longer hot right now ~

which substrate should I give them??

換過d 3A水苔

Those so-called AAA sphagnum moss sold in Flower Market is not that good in quality ~ I think you can try using peat / fine perlite mix that could be bought in 花寶 ~ Go take a look ~

Does that mean I have to remove all the moss and soil and replace them with fine peat?

Of course you have to take the plants out, rinse them thoroughly and pot them up again with Peat/Perlite mix of 3:1

And, use distilled water for watering only ~

Can u post a pic. of this perlite for me as a reference?

These are medium size perlite used in potting of larger plants.
You can choose to use smaller size perlite for small plants ~

Is it a Pre-mixed substrate ??

Pls be aware that you have to use fertilizer free "Peat Moss" to mix with perlite for VFT ~

係啦, 大家幫幫手啦, 我o個盆都係唔靚, 同一樣咁種, 愛麗斯生得好靚啦, 盆夾都係冇乜起色

The pot is a bit too big for such tiny plants ~

I don't have experience useing this kind of perlite but I think it should be OK ~

Don't immerse the pot in water until the plants show sign of recovering. Use tray water to water when top soil is drying out ~ Give plenty of light for them ~
