因為唔知邊盤要keep邊盤要掉。等開花之后才能做決定。沒有兄弟姐妹在旁，就訓咗落來羅。

how can all of your flowers grows that well?

any hints can shares with us?

Mmmm secret is..... only take photo of the nicest flower . Very hard to comment on how to grow gloxi as it really depends on individual environment.

I normally will let it flower once before decide what todo with it. If it has nice flower, i will repot it and make it grow big tuber by removing all the active growing shoot and flower. Left only 2 set of leave. Once the tuber grow big (about 1 inch diameter). Cut and regrow, so that the plant will have nice foliage with many flower.

大岩桐與非洲紫同科屬植物，花朵非常艷麗，容易種植，通常用種子繁植或塊莖最易，需要的環境非洲紫蘭相若，光度需要則比非洲紫蘭略強，現時花墟有很多正直盛開品種出售，價錢超便宜。
Markc的大岩桐因為沒有施矮化劑(B-9等)，所以都變頭重腳輕的高腳七。

violet grow well in my home (in door) but not 岩桐. think half day sunlight next to the window should be okay for 岩桐 but actually not. so not sure how to grow 岩桐 well!

我買不到矮化劑 。陽光夠就不怕徒長了。可是室內。。。能做的有限。

If AV grows well there. Most likely 岩桐 (gloxinia) won't. Gloxinia need more light, enjoy more heat (< 32C) and easily go into domancy during winter. Because is tuberous, must be careful will watering. That is what kills the most gloxinia. It is best to let the media/soil almost completely dry before watering again.

Try adjust your media/soil mix until it completely dry up in 3 days. By adding more perlite into the potting mix. I now use 靚土:珍珠石 （perlite) 1:1 . I do not use vermiculite anymore as it is very hard to control. Since the media is very airy, i can use water tray with standing water without much problem.

Maybe if you could take a photo of your problematic gloxinia and we can work out what you can try.
