My Garden

Hello,
This is my first post! So excited!

This is currently what I've got in my garden!!

Outside the hosue:
1 huge apple tree, it was left by the previous owner, so not sure what type of apple it is and we've tried the apple and it is so sour and not sweet at all. Apparently people use this type of apple to make apple pie or apple cumble.



1 pear tree, again left by the previous owner, however i think the pear tree is ill at the moment as you can see the red dots on the leaves,

Our new arrival, a young cherry tree, this tree combines two type of cherry and pot into one, as we are going into winter now so hopfully we will start having cherry in the summer next year.


Tomato:


魚翅瓜: We got some seeds from a relative and I planted it since July this year. At first all the leaves are eaten by snail and slug, so it nearly die, until recently I've put some anti- snail drug on the ground and it kill them all!

Strawberry: We tasted the sweetest stawberry while we were in Japan this year, therefore after i came back from Japan i start growing my strawberry. Not sure whether they will last as in UK the winter can be freezing but i will cover them well in winter.


Inside my house:
Pepper: My small chilly pepper plant, haven't tasted it yet so not sure how hot it will be!

Blueberry: a very young blueberry plant which i havent planted it out to the garden yet as i am hoping it will grow a bit more and will be strong enough to fight for winter before I plant it out.



Flower wise:
I just want to show you the 風雨蘭 that i've bought since I've joint this forum. It is so difficult to get flower from HK but after i saw the pictures of 風雨蘭 that posted by some of the members, they were beautiful! so after a long search i finally got some bulb online!! However I am not sure how to plant them as the weather are different here to HK, can i leave this outdoor?

At last,
The Orchid: I planted four orchid in one pot! not sure whether it will kill them but they seem quite happy together at the moment!


So this is my garden! Enjoy the photos! i will update you will the latest if i get any fruit!
I am currently trying to see whether i can find any purple four leaf clover online as we dont get as pretty plants as you get in HK! (again this is another plant that i want to have after visiting this website!)

hello happymeow, welcome aboard...your garden looks great !!!  Pears are looking good!  Luck you!
By the way, where are you from?  For purple clover, you should check at the local nureries first...I found it pretty common! No need to buy it online which probably will cost you more! N

啊！我覺得你棵藍莓越早搬出花園越好啊！因為搬左出去後，佢需要時間適應新的環境，重要係長根啊。咁在入冬前佢的根長得越長越深，對佢越冬就越有利啊！況且出左花園，落地後，佢會長得快d架！

又，點解你的風雨蘭好似係浸咁水.....球根植物咁浸法，唔怕爛咩？

Thank you for your advice! Yeah i planted 風雨蘭 with some soil today! I've got them online and it looked a bit dead when it arrive so that was why i put them in water for awhile....
