My small garden at 公司天台 - 超大日本番薯

Hi all!  I'm a rookie at planting.  I found this forum very informative and like to share my small garden.  請多多指教!
We have cucumber, lots of papaya trees, thai basil, 莧 菜 , cherry tomato, pumpkin, 通菜 ..  
I have trouble with cucumber, only one baby cucumber survive.  The rest of baby cucumber just shriveled.  Not sure what's the problem...  And the eggplant, only flower but no fruit.

Really?  Maybe I'm using the wrong kind of fertilizer.  I do apply fertilizer every 2 weeks or so.  The following are some of the fertilizer I use:




Yes, 天台 still has lots of space.  I actually want to make it more organize but just don't know where to begin

Yes, I used to buy all my supplies (pots, soil, fertilizer, etc) from 花墟 when I just started planting because didn't know where to buy at first.  Then I went to the flower market in Guangzhou while I was on business trip, I realized I'm a big "water fish"  The pots were much much cheaper even with delivery cost.  So I bought lots of big pots and soil that time

I'm not familiar with 元朗, can I do a phone order w/ 黃三兄 and arrange delivery?

hmm...  $1500-$2000?  Don't think I can buy that much fertilizer..
Does anybody know roughly how much will it cost if I buy 2kg of each of these fertilizer:花生麩

Like to share some of my harvest...

This was harvested yesterday, tasted delicious.


This cucumber was harvested today.  Tried it at dinner, tasted very bitter.  Is this a bitter melon shaped like a cucumber??!
Anybody knows why it tasted so bitter??

Also, the leaves on my bell pepper plant are wrinkled.  Is it normal?

You are so lucky to have such big papaya and cucumber.  I have garden but still wondering what should be grow.

are really cheap.  Try to travel around Yuen Long for shop selling seeds and planting consumables.  I remember one close to 勝利牛丸

I don't really know my way around Yuen Long.  Will pay attention next time I go.  The papaya actually takes a long time to grow and bear fruit.  We have total of 8 papaya trees, 2 were bought as bb (around 1 foot tall) at Mong Kok flower market and 6 were grown from seeds.  The papaya that was harvested was from the tree we bought from MK.  I've grown them for more than a year, so really joyful when eating it


You can grow some vegetables, they grow very fast.  Squash and tomato takes longer.  Can try to grow fruit tree if you have patient.

Can anybody tell me why the cucumber I plant tasted like 苦瓜?  It has cucumber 味 but so bitter
