Yes, I took those photos in HK. Tolo Highway early morning.
Success rate was still a little low, around 1-2 in 5 is goodish. As the object was quite far away (must be around 50m away) and was moving rather fast, if I fill the object too much in the frame, very difficult to follow the object accurately. So, prefer not to zoom in too much and crop the object out later.
I was quite pleased with the speed of the auto focus though.
That was one of the main considerations when I bought that lens because I like fast moving objects (e.g. UFO?). Able to zoom is also important for me, too.

Wow! I just checked the "small print" in the F1 site. It says, ".....any audio recorder, camera tripod, monopod or lens with a total focal strength of greater than 200mm, video equipment capable of producing television broadcast quality footage or any other such equipment Shanghai International Circuit deems unacceptable for the purposes of Clause 12."
Luckily, my lens is 200mm but my friend's is 350mm. Hope we can get in the circuit ok with them!
Yes, it really did rain cats & dogs 2 hours before the race on Sunday . I had to change cloths in airport before flying back to HK that night. Friday and Saturday was so sunny that I had sun-burn on my face!

No time at home. Going to Hokkaido on Thursday for friend's wedding. Sure I will take pictures there and will need more time to sort them out after.
