怕熱,而且最怕香港的潮濕且炎熱的氣候,所以現在都休眠了喔!

Anemone is also commonly known as "Wind Flower" !!!  Older generations might be aware of an old song named after this flower but most people tend to get mixed up with "Poppy" (or "Papaver" in botanical term) by misinterpretation of the lyrics of the song.

Fact is that "Wind Flower" belongs to the Ranunculaceae Family and does not possess any drug properties.  By contrary, "Poppy", which is the plant from which opium is derived, belongs to the Papaveraceae Family and marks a considerable difference between "Wind Flower".  Therefore, it is absolutely safe to get close to "Wind Flower" and one would not get hooked to it, save possibly for its irresistible beauty...
