白花丹（Plumbago zeylanica）的根葉搗爛外敷可治跌打損傷，但外敷過久可引起皮膚發炎、紅腫及起水泡。誤食會引致嘔吐、消化道出血、呼吸及循環系統衰竭。但藥用有祛風止痛、散瘀消腫的功效。

回復 eve3313 2011-7-10 23:08: 大約三年前在我朋友送過來不要的杜鵑花盆內發現的, 牠會先結種子夾, 散完種子, 然後才開花。若用大個盆來種佢, 牠就會大棵些, 花菖亦會長好多! 否則, 2"高到就有花菖啦!

你有興趣呀! 可以呀! 佢好易種, 放出窒外風吹雨打, 日晒雨淋都得。若你用個花盆大些, 佢就會大棵些 (7"~8"高), 不然, 就好似張相錦, 2"高就有野睇啦, 不過, 支花菖細及只得幾個花lum囉! 若你種得佢好, 棵母株可以種到1~2年架! 請PM我取地址, 然後寄盒子給我啦!

I have kept some seeds on hands. If you like, I can share some with you as well. As this plant generally grows in the tropics area, you have to consider if it is suitable for it to plant in Canada! Regarding to the size of a flower, I guess its area maybe has 1.5CM SQ.

Great! Can you send your baby of K. Manchu to me? If it is too big to put into a box, then we have to meet in somewhere.

生得好多好快就係害處啦，因為佢唔係本土植物
每種植物都會有天敵控制住數量，令佢唔會生太多
而入侵種因為冇天敵，而環境又適合大量繁殖
所以就會阻住其它植物生長
