A bit cooler temperature with high humidity is the key to successfully grow these intermediate nepenthes ~

Except viking x ampullaria ~ It is a lowlander which need hotter weather ~

bellii x veitchii is one of the famous parantages giving birth to some very eye catching complex hybrids  ~

I only saw bellii species itself made by BE and they are almost all big plants with inattractive small pitcher ...

However, almost all hybrids made by the EP using bellii have totally different appearance to the species plants I saw .. All inattractive dull disadvantage characteristics were gone leaving huge pitchers with bright colours and smaller plants. I don't know why but perhaps that is the importance of parantage selection ~
