I've heard that in order for your tulips to flower, you'll need to put the bulbs in the fridge (0-5C) for a period of 6-12 weeks. This is because tulip bulbs need to experiance an artificial winter/normal winter in order for the flower parts to mature inside the bulb. In general, the longer the "winter" it experiances, the faster it will grow afterwards. I've been planting tulips for 4 years now, and this year I've left the bulbs in the fridge for 3 months
