Pear Tomatos

  Bought some pear tomato seeds a few months ago.

Planted it and they all went well.

However, it is not easy for harvesting.   

  The skin is thick when it is green.  It is easily dropping its fruit when they are not ready to eat.





Skin always BURSTS when the tomatos starting to turn / turned yellow...

Therefore, I have to harvest them once it started to turn ... yellow.







Now I am hoping the dropped green pear tomatos will trun yellow itself on the plant without "BURSTING"...

  By the way, the yellow pear tomatos are juicy BUT sour...

You are right.

Taste bad... The red one is Much better...

我覺得得個樣,其他品種cherry tomato都好食過佢

I thought I should plant something different ... and I choose Pear Tomatos.

And I was told a month ago, Pear Tomatos are selling expensively in CITYSUPER...

I wonder why people pay for something taste that bad for a high price.

I bought it from ebay, US.    Big fruits, very JUICY... BUT... very sour....

Killed 40 tomato trees and gave most of the fruits away.



Now I still have 3 dishes of tomatos left...







I tried the yellow pear tomatos...still sour and juicy... however a friend ate my pear tomatos several time claimed the tomato are sweet...

  But all the one I ate are sour ...  NOT FAIR....

By the way, these round tomatos are suppose to be pear tomatos, same seeds.  

But they got infected and fruit change to ordinary round ones.

One tree is round tomato, all the trees in that area changed to round and red... Dont know why...
