Gladiolus dalenii 是有斑點的嗎？
I also find the short form Gloriosa particularly attractive. Seed pods were noticed but it occurs to me that none of the seed pods would develop seed, suggesting that it might possibly be a self-sterile variety/species. I have got a single clone of a similar miniature Gloriosa from Malawi, the plant is short, upgright and develops extraordinarily broad leaves without tendril. Gloriosa is a highly variable plant. In the natural habitat, plants vary considerably in form and shade. I attach a picture showing the habit of the short form to give you an idea how the entire plant looks like.
Regarding Gladiolus dalentii, it is a widespread species and is distinguished by the heavily spotted petals - it is a great beauty indeed.
