掛在枯木的毬蘭, 生得好快, 仲生埋入枯木o既樹皮度, 最近有埋花苞

We can wait and see.  Flowers may come after Spring festival as this winter will be much cooler than last year.  But plants will be OK.  

just a little question :
Did you watered the 花蕾 as same as the other parts of the plant?

May be you can try keeping the bulbs dry and avoiding them from being ruined by low temperature with heavy moisture....

    thanks for your advice,  but i cant ensure my mum not to do so when watering

I thought Hoya gives the blooming from early Autumn - dry and warm weather.....
yours could be a bit late......
However, she will bring you a hugh one by next time since the bloom activity starts this year.....
Looking forward to see a beautiful flowering plant by early next year ~~~~

Growing Tips for HOYA


Growing from a cutting is a very easy. Use a cutting with two or three leaf nodes.

Remove the leaves from the bottom node. Dust the end with a rooting hormone powder (any garden shop will have this).

Bury in a good potting mixture. I prefer a mix of perlite vermiculite and sphagnum peat moss.

Water thoroughly and let the soil dry out before watering again.

Why my Hoya plant is not blooming.

Hoya plants need bright indirect sunlight. In a brightly lit window or under and overhang on the house.

Hoya plants like to completely dry out between watering.

Night temperatures of 60°F to 65°F (16°C to 18°C) and day temperatures of 70°F (21°C) or higher are optimal.

With the right light, temperature and watering, your Hoya plants should thrive and give you the beautiful blooms you expect.

INSECTS
Hoya plants are susceptible to mealy bugs, and certain varieties to spider mites. Treat both by spraying with an insecticidal soap.

LIGHTING
Hoyas like bright indirect sunlight. I have great success growing them in a northern exposure. However they can be grown indoors in a brightly lit window. You might have to reposition your hoya until it finds its perfect spot.

HUMIDITY
They will tolerate low levels with no harm

WATERING
Hoya plants like to completely dry out between watering. When watering saturate the pot thoroughly until some water drains out of the bottom. DO NOT water again until they completely dry out.

FERTILIZE
Hoyas are light feeders. Fertilize once a month with a balanced fertilizer such as 15-15-15. When growing stops in the winter discontinue feeding.

PRUNING
Prune anytime growth is excessive, or after the flowering cycle is complete. They bloom on new growth, so be careful.




硬葉、多肉類：大多都愛日光浴。這類植物喜歡在乾透後才澆水（大乾大濕）。多肉的葉是它們儲水的地方。厚葉的蒸騰作用很慢。


薄葉類：需要吸收大量的水份和經常保持濕潤。薄葉代表水分從葉表蒸發得快。薄葉型的種類通常不能像厚葉型的種類喜歡接受強光。


有軟毛、淺綠葉類：這一類較傾向愛陽光的一類，但是它們的葉片薄需要大量水份防止枯萎曬乾。


陽光需求：中。可半日照，也可放在室內；喜散光，耐蔭蔽，多日照才多開花，忌日光直射


性喜溫暖及潮濕

水分需求：中；只要1星期澆水1次就夠，天氣好、乾爽的日子可多洒些水，有助葉片生長。夏季葉片勿留水滴，易爛。

I have 2 lovely hoya plants with different leave forms
so, I need to learn more and more about them.....
I would like to share the joy when yours starts flowering....
